We've all heard that saying "When one door closes another one opens" and all you need is to be brave enough to step through it. Everyone fears the unknown and about 80% of the people you meet and you would like to have join you in your new adventure will say "This is not for me, I can't sell". Those were my words until I learned not to try and sell and instead learn to share. That's another thing adults try to instill in us when we're very young... how to share. It's not as easy as it sounds either.

 

Learning something new takes time and patience. After being way too comfortable in an office job that I had for nearly 30 years, just over 10 years ago I had to take a leap of faith. It had become too easy to clock in a 9-5 job and rack up to 6 weeks paid vacation and all those nice company benefits and suddenly bam company closed operations. This was the start of something totally outside my comfort zone and resulted in many sleepless nights trying to figure out what I was doing next. It pushed me back into that scary time, when I was 18 running around with resume in hand, praying that someone would hire me even though I had no training and no experience.

 

My daughter is much bolder and much braver than I, and she grew frustrated with the corporate world in a very short period of time and made it her mission to find something else to do for her own security, sanity and future for her soon to be growing a family. Thankfully she included me in those plans. Well, actually she more than nudged me by making me her first and most valuable client. That started both of us on a whole new path of discovery. So back in 2005, we joined our first MLM direct sales company, SeneGence International. My daughter chose this company because she was very impressed with the compensation plan. Thus began our new adventure that has led us down many new paths of discovery and learning.

 

This open door led us to so many new adventures and we jumped in feet first, educating ourselves about the multi-level marketing industry and the fascinating components which not only make it exciting, it is also a fascinating way to open your mind to new possibilities.
